Welcome to the SEALS Community portal! The SEALS community portal will behave in two ways: for the general public it will contain summarized information about the SEALS community and the SEALS results and, for registered users, it will provide access to the different SEALS services. What is the SEALS Community? The SEALS Community is a worldwide group of individuals and organizations interested in the evaluation of semantic technologies. This community will give semantic tool researchers, vendors and users the opportunity to participate in tool evaluations, as well as find and exchange evaluation opinions, materials and results that support their technology evaluation and selection activities. As a Community member, you will have access to our community wiki where community members - researchers, vendors and users - can share knowledge and opinions on tool evaluation and evaluation results. Members will have exclusive first access to participate in evaluations, feedback on evaluation methodologies and activities, and to access evaluation results. How do I get involved?
Joining the SEALS Community is easy and poses no obligations. On the other hand, by being a member of the community you will have first-hand information about existing semantic technology evaluation initiatives and results. The SEALS community will be launched early 2010. A form to indicate interest and be among the first to receive an invitation can be found here. To learn more about the future activities of the SEALS community, you can read about the planned evaluation campaign and further details about our planned approach to evaluation of semantic technologies in the menu on the left hand side. Stay tuned to the SEALS Community portal! We will be updating the content in the near future.
