SEALS was pleased to sponsor the Best Evaluation Paper at this year's Extended Semantic Web Conference (ESWC) 2010. The award went to:

Measures for Benchmarking Semantic Web Service Matchmaking Correctness   

Ulrich Küster and Birgitta König-Ries

SEALS evaluation campaign manager Fabio Ciravegna presented the award at the conference closing session.

Winning author Ulrich Küster, of the University of Jena in Germany, said afterwards:

"thanks again for sponsoring a prize for the best evaluation paper. I think this is a really important topic and great idea and of course I am very happy that you choose our paper." 

SEALS hopes to see many more conference publications on semantic tool evaluation in the future, especially from our SEALS consortium and community members.
