You can find online the results for the 6 tools that participated in this year's edition of the SEALS Yardsticks for Ontology Management. The tools evaluated this year were three ontology management frameworks (Jena, the OWL API and Sesame) and three ontology editors (the NeOn Toolkit, Protégé 4 and Protégé OWL). All of them were evaluated in three different scenarios where their conformance, interoperability and scalability was evaluated. A detailed description of these evaluation scenarios and of the test data used can be found in SEALS Deliverables 10.1 and 10.2. A detailed analysis of all these results can be found in SEALS Deliverable D10.3.

Use the SEALS Yardsticks for Ontology Management to measure your tool! The SEALS Yardsticks For Ontology Management is an evaluation campaign that comprises a set of evaluations defined with the goal of evaluating the ontology management capabilities of semantic technologies in terms of their ontology language conformance, interoperability and scalability. The main tools targeted are ontology engineering tools and ontology management frameworks and APIs. This year our evaluations will cover the evaluation of conformance, interoperability and scalability with different test data. If you want to see how your tool performs and to compare it with others, join us!
