Following the successful completion of the Semantic Search Tool theme of the SEALS Evaluation Campaign 2010, the detailed results and analyses have been completed. The results generated by these two phases have provided interesting, and complimentary, perspectives on the performance of the participating tools. Indeed, the user-in-the-loop phase experiments have both provided a detailed picture of each tool's performance but also give an insight into what search tool users (experts and non-experts alike) what from the tool's interface. This feedback will be interesting both to the developers of the tools who participated but also with wider community. Indeed, this was one of the goals of the SEALS initiative: to feed back information to developers to allow them to improve their tools and more closely match user requirements. For more details of the results generated from this evaluation campaign, please see the summary provided on the results page and the detailed results and analyses included in the SEALS Deliverable D13.3. |
