Since the results of last year's Semantic Search Tools Evaluation Campaign were presented at the IWEST workshop at ISWC 2010 in Shanghai, we've been busy preparing for the second evaluation campaign which will take place later this year. A lot of work has been taking place 'behind the scenes' to make full use of the new functionalities being introduced into the SEALS Evaluation Platform. These efforts will make participating in a campaign very easy and straightforward. Indeed, they also pave the way for anyone to define an evaluation programme and use the SEALS infrastructure to execute it. As part of our preparations for the next campaign, we have launched a community consultation process regarding their previous experiences of semantic search evaluation campaigns and what they'd like to see in future ones - and, specifically, in SEALS organised ones! We are investigating current trends within the semantic search community with the aim of tailoring our future evaluation(s) more closely to the benchmarking needs of researchers and tool developers. If you develop or work with semantic search tools, we'd like to hear from you. We have created a questionnaire to gather your input which can be accessed from http://ww3.unipark.de/uc/DDIS_Research/8d79/?code=c64f46018c1ada1f Of course, if you have any other thoughts or ideas, do
