What are associate members not entitled to? SEALS associate members are not entitled to: - be involved in SEALS decisions (they can only act in an advisory position upon invitation by the coordinator; - receive funding of any form from the SEALS project; - represent themselves as SEALS partners (they can only use the associate member title). How do I become an associate member? Firstly, you need to be proposed to the projects Management Board to be an associate member and the proposal must be accepted. The best way to do this is to approach the SEALS consortium partner most relevant to the areas of your expertise, and agree with them on the proposed contribution you will make to SEALS. They will then propose you to the Management Board. Secondly, you will need to enter into an Agreement with the SEALS project coordinator acting on behalf of the SEALS consortium. This covers a Mutual non-disclosure agreement, Licensing and the Duration and Termination of the associate membership.
